Alium were appointed as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor for the surface-level expansion of Bristol Airport’s Silver Zone (Cogloop 1) car park, delivering an additional 2,800 spaces.


The scheme utilised a geogrid cellular parking system and included a landscaped bund to screen the extension and minimise visual impact on the surrounding area.


Works were procured via competitive tender and delivered under the NEC4 form of contract. The programme was accelerated to achieve an early handover for peak season.
