Alium were appointed as Quantity Surveyor and Employer’s Agent for the redevelopment of an existing brownfield, mixed-use commercial site near Bushey station in Watford. The scheme delivers 19 residential units, a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments.


Procured through a competitive tender and let under the JCT Design and Build Contract 2016, the project required close collaboration with neighbouring properties due to constrained site access, active engagement with the Environment Agency to manage a local aquifer crossing the site, and coordination with Homes England to ensure compliance and funding requirements.
